Birthday
It's my birthday today and I'm one. I don't really feel any different though. But I suppose I am a bit. I can catch shreddies now when Colin throws them to me, and I don't get quite so scared when odd things surprise me. We went to town on Saturday and I didn't bark at anything; sometimes children frighten me a bit because I still think it's a bit odd that people are really that small and noisy. And sometimes when people just want to touch me before I've really decided whether I want them to or not. That can be a bit scary. But I'm getting better - I'm starting to think most people are nice most of the time.
Dogs are fine - I'm hardly ever really afraid of other dogs, although I pretend to be sometimes. Me and a terrier had a proper run-around game at Fosse Meadows yesterday.
I had an operation a week or two ago and Sue says now I won't have that season thing I had once which made me feel a bit peculiar. I'm quite glad.
Colin took the picture above at Watermead. You can see my sock I found.
Can't believe you're one already Cookie. Seems like no time at all since you stayed with me as a little baby! Hope you had a nice birthday. Birthdays usually mean a cake..... did you get one? If you didn't you will have to find some way of complaining. Give it your best shot and maybe you will get something nice!
