Training

I've been doing training, which I like because I get lots of food treats. I like food a lot.
I can do:
Sit (easy-peasy)
Flat - when I hear this command I have to put my tummy on the ground with my front legs in front of me. I quite like to add in a bit of a yelpy bark at the same time, just so that Sue or Colin really knows I'm doing it.
Touch - I have to touch the back of Sue's hand (or Colin's - I don't have to go and find Sue if she's not there). I do this with my nose, but quite often with my paws as well - just to make sure.
Also I get a treat everytime I go out to...you know....wee and poo.
I get a few treats when I let myself be brushed. I don't know why because actually I like that.
Me with a dirty nose after digging in Colin's vegetables
And sometimes I have to have my lead on, even though we're not going anywhere. I get treats for that.  Everyone knows you only wear a lead outside when you are near a road or another dog who is a bit cross. So I don't know why I have to wear it indoors.
My favourite is the dishwasher - when the door is folded down I get a treat when I jump on the door and then get off.  So of course I jump on it as much as I can.

Sneaking up on Tikka

Boo!

Tough Day

Nice warm day, comfy sofa. What more do you need?

Visitors

Yesterday it was someone called Neil and Linda, (and Grandma and Grandpa) and they were really, really nice, and I got lots of strokes and went on their laps and everything.
Today it was Maisie and Marley who are a white dog and a black dog.  Maisie and I played a bit, but she didn't seem to want to chase, just to wrestle, and I thought she was much too big for that - she would have just squashed me - so I didn't get too close.  Marley didn't seem to want to play very much. I think he just prefers to watch and make sure everyone's alright, although he did play with my mouse a bit later - I think he thought no-one was watching.  Then Donna came to fetch them and I played with her hair, which is long.

Walk in the Woods

Jus' bin a walk, as we say here in Lesstorh. I'm too little to walk on the ground, and Sue says I need all my jabs (not too many I hope - I didn't like the first jab one bit) before I do that anyway.  So I have to go in my pouch.

We met lots of people and a little girl gave me some kibbles and stroked my head.  We were in the woods and nearly everyone else in the woods seemed to be running everywhere really fast.

Me again

My latest highly professional portrait by Colin

Rabbit

Rabbit is my friend, and sleeps in my bed with me.  We play together and he lets me try to bite his nose off.  I like him a lot.

Awooow!

This is a big picture of a very little thing, and I discovered this morning that when you put one in your mouth it really, really hurts.  It made me howl and howl, and scared me a lot.  I've decided not to try that again.

I've got a collar....

...and I'm not at all sure about it.  At first I thought it was something I could run away from, but when I got to where I was running, the collar was still there, round my neck. It's very scratchy.  But it's smart as well - it's got stars on.  You can see it in this picture of me asleep. When I'm asleep I forget I've got it on.

Buzz's Bed

I like my bed, but I also like the look of Buzz's bed. So when Sue took Buzz for a walk this evening I tried it out.  It was good for playing in.

Leicester

Big day today - I've left home.  Or rather, I've got a new home.  Sue and Colin came to get me and take me to where they live, in Leicester. And I have a new brother, Buzz.  I'm a bit scared of Buzz at the moment, even though he just ignores me mostly.  But he's very grown up, and this is his house, and he might not want me living in it too.

I have my very own playpen, and I've brought my Norfolk sausages here with me, even though there were some new toys here when I arrived.

Sue and my Dad, Waffle.

Me and my sausages

Colin says they'll take me to see Waffle and Pumpkin when I'm bigger.  That will be good, but I don't miss them yet.  I like it here.

Car

Colin:
Cookie's armrest bed
Coming home from Norfolk we tried Cookie in her crate in the back for 15 minutes, but it became clear she wasn't happy and wasn't going to settle. So Sue carried her on her lap for quite a while, but again, although she was happier she didn't settle down until Sue let her clamber onto the driver's armrest. That did the trick. Granted, not the safest idea for Cookie, and it won't be repeated, but she did curl up and go to sleep.

Me and Mum

Me and my Mum
This is me and my mum, Pumpkin.  I did have brothers and sisters but they have all gone to live in Other Places now.  I think I am going to live there too soon.

Introductions

My mum is called Pumpkin. At the moment I'm in Norfolk. Today my name was made Cookie, which I like very much.
